Here at Seventh Gen, we're motivated by our personal ethos of keeping the next seven generations in mind in all we do. We believe that investing in renewable energy is the only practical way to meet our growing global energy demand, and one of the most potent resources we have at our disposal in combatting this global climate crisis we're now facing.
But we also know, that as significant the savings of going solar can be, the upfront investment can seem prohibitive to some folks, and not everyone has a good location for solar power, either. It is for that reason that we've started the Power for the People program, and committed to reinvesting 10% of all net profits into a fund for future Community Solar Projects in the Granite State.
Through community solar, those with a lower income or tax threshold will be able to invest any amount consistent with their means into a shared solar project in their area, and will then be compensated proportionally for that investment, in the form of a monthly credit on their electric bill.
Community Solar will allow those who are unable or unwilling to install a solar system on their own property, to still take advantage of the profound economic and environmental benefits. If you have an interest in becoming part of a Community Solar project near you, please reach out to us and let us know! The Power for the People program is our pledge to you!
